This was my most favourite photoshoot I've ever had. I'm kind of a little addicted to café racer, so I was so excited when my friends invited me to take some shots for riding in bushes. At first I had a little trouble to drive it until finally I'm a little used to it after I took a few round in slow speed. It was a cloudy afternoon unfortunately, but my friends could still manage to took the good shots and I think the mood that came out is just perfect for the green grasses. And after I saw the result I'm kind of laughed at myself because I couldn't help to see my face (also my style) that looked so much like a lady biker, thanks to my friends!

I drew Lalisa or Lalice Manoban from Blackpink not just because I adore her as an idol, but somehow I feel like like she's so cool that she's able to pursue her dream overseas. She's still young and have to live outside her country, far away from her family to achieve what she aimed for. I must say it really inspires me a lot. When sometimes I feel like I want to give up, when my heart's trembling, I wish I could look up to something or someone that keep me think it is possible to achieve what I aimed for, that's why I should just give another hard work. Whenever I'm having bad times like this, whenever I feel like afraid to set a dream, I always wish I could still be stronger and stronger. I think a girl with passion, with so many dreams to achieve, could do something great.

Who doesn't love to grab some coffee in a place with good ambience and full of glass walls? You can sit by the window looking at the busy street or watching the raindrops flow in the window in a such chill afternoon.

These photos were taken at one of a coffee shop in Surabaya that I love its coffee and the interior. It's not too crowded so it suits me well because I don't really like to visit a coffee shop full of people where you can hear their loudest laugh. If you feel the same as me I recommend you to visit and try their manual brew coffee or the green tea latte if you're not into coffee. Or, you definitely should try the affogato for ice cream lovers like me. You can also enjoy your 'me time' here and sit at the corner of the room. And it's definitely one of the best place to chit chat with your best companion, whether its your squad, lover, family, or co-worker.

It was a rainy afternoon when I took these photos and it accordance to what I expected to get the chill afternoon mood.

I'm pretty excited to play with this new toy! Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to play skateboard but I thought my parents won't let me do this. But I'm a grown up now, right? So yesterday on Sunday my friends and I went to the new Surabaya Bridge (Jembatan Surabaya) when we actually wanted to catch the sunrise but we were too late because of my stupidity (okay, there you have my apologies). We arrived at the bridge maybe around 6.45 am and you can see on these photos there were already so many people. Too bad we couldn't take a better picture. The bridge is great, I love its architecture and when you're on the top of the bridge you'll see the coastal of Surabaya in a great view, also the golden sparkling sunlight that reflects on the sea. I always enjoy this kind of view.

After we spent enough time to enjoy the sea breeze, we climbed down to the street and started to take some photos. I don't know why I got the feels of Brooklyn here though it's totally different lol, but it's a really great update for the face of Surabaya. Also, in the night there will be a lighting and fountain show but I heard it's only for the weekend and I'm quite curious about how it will be look like.

Have you ever feel like, you try so hard on understanding others rather than yourself, but then you feel like they're not trying as hard as you do to understand you? Well, maybe this is all about.

Maybe we listen so little.

And talking too much. Too much about yourself, too much about other's behaviour, or too much about the world. It doesn't mean a bad thing but, the term of 'listen' sounds shallow than it should mean for people nowadays. Or maybe it always happens in society. When someone asks us if we are listening to others, we could say yes. But, do we really 'listen' to them? Only listening doesn't make us understand. Sometimes, they forget how to understanding others, or for the worst, the people near to them. Maybe we miss something really important when someone told us about something which could mean they need us to understand that something. I know that not everyone couldn't read between the lines. There are indeed some people that are blunt or some are stolid. Somehow I admire people that could be so blunt about themselves.

I often asking myself if my stolidity is wrong, but end up asking what is really wrong with society. When we failed to meet their expectations, or they failed to understand ourself, then it turned out to be a silent cause between each other. And the question that left hanging is, who's fail to understand? Not everyone born to be blunt and not everyone born to able read between the lines. I also often asking myself if I already listen - and understand - people near me, hoping that it may become my ability to read between their lines and see the real them.

Sometimes when I feel unease, I'd rather write something that make it easier to be understand by the others. These photos I took a quiet long time ago are inspired by this thought and sometimes, music is one of the only thing that can really  understand ourself.

This photos were taken during the photoshoot for my final thesis. How much do I enjoy drink this cup of caffein? Well, I could say that I enjoy it a lot to drink coffee during my relax, leisure time to the most hectic day that I need more caffein shots. But maybe I'm still in this 'coffee drinker' level. It means I still have not understand that much about coffee, although for my final thesis I took a project of designing encyclopedia about Java coffee. The truth is I do want to learn more about coffee and its making, so I decided to take this project.

It took much of efforts and pain - of course, but overall I really enjoyed the process. Started from the journey to the coffee plantation, did some researches at a coffee research institute and a company, also I often visited many local coffee shop from the cheap one to the one that providing the most delicious coffee. For the next post, I will show some photos of my journey to the coffee plantation.

Been not update in a while because few months a go I was busy preparing my graduation and looking for official job. It's not easy to work in design industry here in my country, though it may better but this field is still in so much development.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoy to spend my leisure time to do some illustration, which I didn't have that much time doing it when I was in college period. Besides it's good to improve my drawing skill.

Perhaps if you don't know, she is Camren Bicondova from Gotham TV series, known for her role as Selena Kyle. Well at least that's how people recognise her nowadays. But I'd already known her long before she joined the acting career. I love her performance in America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC) season 8, with her 8 Flavahz team. As a dancer, her move inspires me a lot, though she's far younger than me but she's already become a really great dancer. And of course, I also love her appearance in Gotham series and impress that she also can do this acting things.

Sendiki Beach (Pantai Sendiki) is one of my favourite beaches in South Malang. The beach is still quite and clean, plus there is a big swing and I think that makes it different from the other beaches in South Malang.

I took this trip few months ago with my friends from high school, without any special preparations (like we usually did). We were hangout together that night then we suddenly wanted to go to a beach that we hadn't visit yet, so we decided to go that late night. And guess what, we arrived at the village too early, sure the sky was still dark then we stopped by at a house to parked our car there. The funny part was when we were waiting while we sat in a hut, then we were too afraid to make a move after we heard a dog (or even a wolf?) barking and howling, so we just ran and hid in our car until the sun rose.

Finally at dawn, we decided to start make a move. After we asked for permission from the house owner to parked our car there, we headed to the beach by walking because it was impossible to drove the car to the beach at the moment. Anyway the house owner are so friendly and kind.

The road was still narrow that time and I don't know how about now. Because when I visited there, there were some road constructions at some point by local residents. They said that the road was aimed for the tourist track.

We walked far enough, about 40 minutes from the village, and the road was real steep. We had to walk through rice field and dense trees. After we heard sound of the waves, together we shouted "Ah, finally!", then we ran through the entrance road and stepped our feet on the sand.  The sky was still cloudy and the beach was a little foggy when we arrived, about 5.30 am. The water is real blue and a little greenish, the sand is creamy and clean, also the air is reaaaally fresh. We took a rest after we satisfied enough running around the beach until afternoon before we decided to go back to the village. When the sun was already high the air was really hot and the worst part was we lack of water and we still had to walk far enough. Trust me the heat really makes you want to crawl.

After we finally arrived at the village, we said goodbye to the house owner and headed off from the village as fast as we can so we could buy some water at the minimart.

An unplanned short trip is the best trip and it usually happens a lot with my friends. But don't forget to bring some water and snacks so the trip would still goes well ;)
